Came here for Winterlicious lunch and the food was great. The highlight was my appetizer which was grilled calamari but everything else tasted great. My wife had spaghetti with meat sauce which was okay. I would probably come back here again.

Food and service were not good so I decided to not give a tip. The waiter looked at the receipt and said out loud, "you did not tip??? They would get mad if they found out". Customers from the other table looked and I felt so uncomfortable. I was shocked and was not able to answer back. That was really rude of him. I hope it makes him happy to embarrass someone.

Just the best place for a nice dinner

Every food that we eat wasn’t good at all.The meat and fish wasn’t fresh.Only the beer was good.I’m disappointed.

Food was average. Venue was nice. Very authentic italian cuisine, a bit on the pricier side for the portions.

Worst dining experience in Toronto!My mother treated me here for my birthday (my choice) and it was such a horrible experience that I actually felt compelled to apologize and reimburse her for it. I've been to a lot of Yorkville restaurants and honestly cant understand why this place is still running.First, the food was not inventive and was just plain bad. I ordered the "Butterfly Grilled Tiger Prawns with Garlic Oil" which came overcooked, chewy and flavorless. My mom ordered the Gnocci which was just as bland. I can name several restaurants that offer the same meals much more impressively and at less or the same cost. The server was so dull (which was at least consistent with everything else) and bordered on rude. It was certainly the worst service I've experienced outside a fast-food restaurant! The ONLY semi-good thing about this place was it's location, but with 5 other restaurants a stones-throw away, I would certainly never find the need to return here.

First visit here. I'm trying to figure out why this place is rated so low. My wife and I had a very nice romantic dinner. Pasta was very fresh, with fresh vegetables. Soup and salad were equally delicious and fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is not a place you come to for fast eating. This is dining. Courses were served when you were finished, not all at once. Atmosphere was great. Tucked away from the main street. Portions were huge!

This place need to step up their pasta sauce game. They are relying on old recipes that feel out dated and I feel they may have changed management or chefs. I love the downtown area for getting more variety . But I was hoping more from their calamari .

This place has a lot of potential; however, my visit was just ok. It has a beautiful patio, great location (between Yorkville and Cumberland) but the food was just ok and the service was not good. The waiter did not talk to anyone, he did not ask if we wanted another drink nor did he ask if we wanted coffee ect. Aside from the location, there is nothing that would bring me back.😔

Great service and great food! My server was very polite and explained the menu very well. They accommodated our large group and responded quickly to many of our requests. I would love to come back again

I felt robbed after leaving. I spent $60 and left hungry. The service was so terrible, borderline rude. The food was disgusting, so much garlic it was burning my throat which I couldn't even send back because they never bothered to ask how anything was and ignored our table most of the night (despite it not being busy). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I sincerely hope this place goes out of business. They are thieves. I can't believe they are in business, especially in such a nice area. Must be a money laundering scheme. Save your money/time, even East Side Mario's would be better.Would give 0 stars if possible.

A great quiet restaurant in Yorkville to unwind and relax

If I can rate this place worst then a 1 star I would. Absolutely horrible food and service. I waited for an hour to get my food that wasn't cooked properly. The waiter was rude and did not know what customer service is. The best thing about the place was the bread and butter they serve otherwise its horrible. To the owner please teach your waiter what customer service is otherwise your business will be driven to the ground by him.
